Chris Bryan of Liberty Hall in Lambertville has made 200 pizzas and counting that he freezes and delivers to area food pantries.
Bryan, who had to furlough his staff because of the coronavirus pandemic, wanted to keep cooking to give back to the community.
“My business partner and I realized that it’s better to invest in the community right now. The business will come back because of the community so that’s why we thought it was important,” he said.
Bryan started a GoFundMe to help offset the cost of ingredients.
The community has been generous and he has already surpassed his goal but said as long as there are funds available, the pizza will keep on coming.
