LAMBERTVILLE — Fisherman’s Mark will celebrate its 30th anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. with a fundraiser hosted by Renny Reynolds and Jack Staub at Hortulus Farm, 60 Thompson Mill Road in Wrightstown, Pa.
The cost is $75 per person.
The event will include live big band music featuring Doylestown Heat and The Luckiest Guys in the World (Jazz Trio); tours of the gardens; and culinary delights by Caffe Galleria, City Market, Dish Catering, Emily’s Café & Catering, Hamilton Grill Room, Holly Hedge, Jamie Hollander Gourmet Foods and Pineville Tavern.
To showcase its recent work in adding fresh (often local) food and nutritional education to its services, this will also be a “Farm Fresh Party” featuring local produce from Blue Moon Acres, Fred Slack Farm, MilkHouse Farm, Manoff Market Garden and NoneSuch Farm. Also included are seasonal cocktails, locally crafted brews and wines from Yards Brewing Co., Round Guys Brewing Co., RiverHorse Brewery, and wine from Unionville Vineyards.
With the generous support of community members, private businesses and dedicated volunteers, Fisherman’s Mark has been helping families put food on their tables, overcome personal or medical hardships, care for children, and advocate for those who need support. For thirty years, they have served the community as a whole, particularly those of low and moderate income. The name “Fisherman’s Mark” comes from Saint Andrew, a fisherman who brought people to a safe haven. It also stems from the belief of the founding board that each person leaves a mark where they live, play and work.
Come offer your support for its programs and help them celebrate.
