Announcing the Fisherman's Mark Food Pantry

$125 Sponsor-A-Truckload Challenge!

The need is greater than ever, right here, right now.  We have a growing challenge to provide more food to keep up with the growing demand.  Your check for just $125 will pay for a truck delivery full of donated and USDA subsidized food to our Food Pantry in Lambertville.

Last year, there were 200 customers per month coming to Fisherman's Mark Food Pantry.  Six months ago, around 500 came and, most recently, for the month of September, 2009, our numbers soared to more than 900 families in need of healthy, nutrritious food.

The food is distributed free-of-charge in a supportive, respectful and compassionate environment.  Customers shop for what they want and need.

It's hard to accept that almost 14% of our neighbors in the greater New Hope-Lambertville area are food insecure--they are struggling to meet the basic needs of feeding their families. 29% are children, 15% are seniors, 31% are full-time workers, 35% are unable to work due to disability, and another 27% are unemployed and trying to find work in a very depressed economy.  *Statistics according to the Hunger Nutrition Coalition of Bucks County, 2008
